Mini Grind R uses a type R plastic roll on lock design as it’s base. Grain is fused directly to a tough polymer backing. Not paper, not cloth, not even fibre, but plastic. This one piece design prevents the risk of detaching. While the polymer promotes cool efficient grinding. Available in 1.5”, 2” and 3” diameters. Gemtex® Mini Grind R discs are manufactured with a multi layer heavy duty vulcanized fibre backing. Coated with specially processed grit engineered for toughness, sharpness and bond. Mini Grind R Disc out perform conventional 2 and 3 ply cloth discs. They are available in Type R locking systems. All Gemtex® Mini Grind R discs are powerful versatile, flexible safe and economical. They are designed for use with a holder of the same size and lock system. -
Mini Resin Fibre Discs (18)
Mini resin fibre discs are manufactured utilizing a multilayer, heavy duty vulcanized fibre as backing, which is then covered with a resin bond coat specially designed to resist loading, glazing and grain stripping. This bond coat is then covered with mineral abrasive grains formulated for toughness and sharpness. Resin fibre discs are available in many different styles. Variances include the diameter, the arbor hole size, the shape of the disc, and the shape of the arbor hole. BritePrep™ Strip Away® discs are made from a tough synthetic fibre impregnated with silicon carbide abrasive grit. Silicon carbide is designed for stone, terrazzo, ceramic and non-ferrous metal. The highest quality silicon carbide grain is selected for this resin fibre disc. They are a safer alternative to wire bristle tools. These unique discs provide fast cutting action with virtually no heat build-up. The open coat design quickly cleans surfaces without damage. Also available in Blue Ultra, Purple Supreme, and Premiere Orange Strip Away® material. For ultra fast cutting where a more aggressive product is needed. -
